Who is Jesus?

Jesus is the most important person who has ever lived.
He is God’s Son, sent from Heaven to show us who God really is and to make a way for us to have a relationship with Him. Though He was born over 2,000 years ago, His life changed the course of history — and He can change your life too.

Jesus was born in a small town called Bethlehem.
He didn’t come as a powerful ruler or a rich man, but as a humble baby. As He grew up, He lived a perfect, sinless life. He never lied, hated, or did wrong in any way. Everywhere He went, He showed love, kindness, and compassion. He healed the sick, gave sight to the blind, fed the hungry, and cared for people that others ignored.

But Jesus didn’t just perform miracles
— He taught powerful truths. He said that God loves every person deeply and that life’s greatest purpose is to love God and share God's love with others. He spoke about forgiveness, peace, and eternal life. His message wasn’t just for religious people or those who had it all together. It was for everyone — no matter their past or background.

Even though Jesus did only good, many people rejected Him.
Some religious leaders didn’t like that He claimed to be the Son of God, and they plotted to have Him killed. Jesus was arrested, beaten, and nailed to a wooden cross. But His death wasn’t a mistake — it was part of God’s plan. On the cross, Jesus took the punishment for our sins so that we could be forgiven. He died in our place because He loves us more than we can imagine.

Three days later, something incredible happened.
Jesus rose from the dead! He came back to life, proving that He truly is the Son of God and that He has power over sin and death. Many people saw Him alive and told others what they witnessed. After spending time with His followers, Jesus returned to Heaven, where He lives today.

Because Jesus died and rose again, He offers salvation
— a free gift of forgiveness and eternal life — to anyone who believes in Him. We don’t earn it by being good enough or religious enough. We simply receive it by trusting in Jesus, turning from our sin, and believing that He paid the price for us.

Jesus isn’t just a figure from history.
He’s alive, He loves you, and He wants to have a personal relationship with you today.
